The National Institute on Mental Health (NIMH) is funding ETR Associates (a non-profit health promotion education and research organization) and Monarch Media to conduct the RTRworks! Project. We are looking for 250 teachers (grades 8 – 12) throughout the USA to teach the 16-lesson curriculum Reducing the Risk: Building Skills to Prevent Pregnancy, STD & HIV (RTR) in a regular classroom (i.e. at least 15 students in a co-ed setting) in the fall of 2010. Participating educators will receive a $450 stipend plus $200 worth of RTR curriculum materials.
Interested parties can go to www.rtrworks.com/join and click on “sign up now” to fill out the online interest survey. This website has detailed information about the project and the RTR curriculum.
